The IMF has cut its growth forecast for the US to 1.6% in 2022. This is because of banking problems, which could lead smaller banks to lend less. It often takes a long time for central banks' interest rate hikes to have an effect on the real economy. I think it maybe it is taking a little more time than central bank would hope to bring down the interest rates when up very quickly.
