What Are Pharaoh's Specific Policy Proposals?

This chapter is very long. It's interesting to me, the way the biblical authors will often compact or stretch out biblical narratives. When they stretch out a story, what they're often trying to do is accent that story and really get you to focus in on the events of what's happening there. And I think what Moses is doing in that is accenting the providence of God and Joseph's deliverance.
