What Is the Relationship Between Religion and His Diaries?
We don't have a large collection of sermons that he preached. But I think we see in the letters probably more than anywhere else, his most deeply thinking about religion on these subjects. He seemed to feel especially close to the grown women who he had known as children and he developed this religious relationship with them.
