The End of Intestinal Bacteria

Every part of your digestive system is covered in a mucus layer. It's mainly so that your own body is always separated from your microbes. If not they would start eating your intestines even if you're alive. But that same mucal layer, whenever you die it isn't produced anymore by the body. Slowly it's been eating away and then when they're done with the mucal layer they just keep going on with your intestinal stuff.
