The Government Will Have a Greater Say in the Appointment of Judges

Pranay's prediction is that in this year, the government will attempt to bring in a new system of appointment of judges. He says it can play out in two ways: one more definitive and structural fashion or as part of a political process. Pranay believes there will probably be greater say that the union government through the law ministry gets in the appointment of judges by FY23.
