Mark Zuckerberg has announced he no longer runs facebook, but instead runs something called meta. The term comes from a distopean syphi novel in the nineties where people were literally fleeing the real world to a virtual world to escape a crumbling society. Alanis marrista says it's about trying to be relevant with younger people and just be seen as acomp that is a future leaning building future platforms.
