Do not give your kid any directions. No commands, no questions. Ignore any behaviors that you don't like unless they're legitimately dangerous. Don't withhold special time for bad behavior or use it as a reward. Harrison says there's an acronym called Pride to help parents get the most out of their kids during special time.
