The Importance of Adaptation in Debate
When people get these, these strong paradigms, some, there's a term we call adaptation. Do I change the way I argue in front of my judge? Well, we all kind of do this. You get people in their bios that will say very debate bro stuff. And so when you get somebody like that, he's making a joke, maybe it's funny and lighthearted, but maybe they're also just like a debate bro who's too cool. The best debaters appeal to a very broad swath of people. Some are very good at adaptation, but I'd say really mastering your ability to speak in front of the people is key.
