The Effects of Oxidative Stress on Triglyceride Export

The export is another part of this equation that I believe is even more significant. If you compare patients with non-alcoholic stator hepatitis NASH and healthy controls, the rate of apobecicretion has been cut by 75%. And unlike this threefold increase in DNL, which is a large relative increase, but it's a minor proportion of the total fat that fluxes through the liver, that 75% decrease in apobECicretion is going to affect all of the triglyceride export no matter where that triglyceride came from. So I think this massive decrease in triglyceride export is much more significant than where the fat is coming from in fatty liver disease.
