Writing Systems of Literacy
There's no reason to doubt the potential existence of these complex forms of societies. We have, before that bronze age period, well back into the neolithic, signs of symbols that are being recorded on various media. So i think it sort of miss normer to say that literacy or writing is the trapping of civilization. Whele we can see communication systems just as complex, that come to us in different case studies around the world.
