The Right of Perfection in the French Caribbean
Etien morin was born and raised in caor, a small village in southwestern france. He helped to organize these various higher degrees into a 25 degree sequence called the right of perfection. And he then brought this right of perfection to the french caribbean and introduced it in colonies,. particularly starting with martinique. After the haytian revolution, when many french masons fled from the caribbian to north america, ventually these various higher degree mason of different backgrounds expanded on and regularized their system. In charleston, south carolina, they published a book explaining this higher degree system, which they renamed as the scottish rite. So
