The US Museum World Continues to Be a Struggle for Publicity
The Philadelphia Museum of Art has been by far the sort of most high profile contract negotiation fight. The museum had gone through some challenges and had laid off a lot of workers because of the pandemic, but also completed a major expansion designed by Frank Gehry. And so it all came to a head this fall in October when they declared that they were going to go on strike first for a day as a sort of warning shot. Ben: I think maybe corals some more artists to make protests as well. But, you know, it's a terrible time. We're all in a hurry.
