Priestcraft Is Even Worse Than Priestcraft
The priests are skimming some of the fat off the top. They're keeping some of that for themselves. I mean, you don't get a better example of priestcraft than this,. It's becoming their craft. It's become their custom. And it's all about selfishness. Compare at to the selflessness of ruth and naomi. The fact that the people under stand the law better than the priests are enacting it. This is priestcraft enforced by threats of violence. Why? Because you're turning people away from god when you've been called to bring them to him.
