A key success metric for lightning is the fact that that because number go up all things equal the fucking purchasing power capacity of the lightning network is going to increase indefinitely as well. This is something that people are, I think, are not prepared for. It scales by itself without us doing it. The single most factored improvement from last year is that all my channels are worth 10x in terms of purchasing power or not purchasing power in terms of shitty money.
