The Fires of the Araganuo Miiraaati Ase
Technology adds aerial images to a map of the area, maps with grid coordinates, buildings and roads. Images show up on a lapped up being used by mike, the analyst who sits next to the pilot. Once they have scanned one fire, they move on to gather information about the next. The beauty of medium wave infered is that even if it was so smoky that you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face, it would still look crystal clear as if nothing were there.
