Carval: I wasn't sure that there was enough material to write a book on broadly the 19 fifties. The bibliotec national in france has got the main archives of fuco's work. It's got all ther papers that were in his apartment when he died. These were sold in two thousand 13 by fuco's partner, danie le fare. But what's become available only in the last few years is a collection of papers that fuco's nephew found in fuco's mother's house. And these look like things that fuco left there, probably when he moved to upsila in 19 55. He didn't keep copies of some of the things
