Isn't Easy Learning Chinese?
It isn't easy to learn Chinese suggests that you are either making the attempt or you have in the past, but you have some sort of first-hand experience. But I feel that it suggests that not so much because of the grammar, but because of what we bring to the context. We know that when we've tried things that aren't easy, we describe that thing that isn't easy by way of a noun rather than the general application of a directed verb.
