Vaccination Acquired Immune Immunity From a Vaccine

The immune system has a rudimentary set of cells that are not highly effective at attacking any pathogen they haven't seen but have a basic ability to attack anything that isn't self. What happens if you get infected with the pathogen that you have never seen before is a process of evolution is triggered inside your immune system. The way they do this is through something called clonal selection where those that tiny subset of your immune cells that is triggered by some pathogen you've never seen right induces the cells that produce either that antibody or has those receptors on its surface to diversify and then produce their own daughter cells.
