Sensos ends the movement in an even more funny way than you could think. He's mocking musical fossils as well, including his own dance mob. Perhaps this is another clue to his later conservatism and reactionary behavior towards new music. You migt have noticed that not a lot of other instruments have had huge solo turns, except for the double bass and the flute. Well, that's about to change,  as we arrive at the second most famous movement in the suite, the swan.
