Are You Just an Ambitious Guy?

I was just one of those people who never felt comfortable with just knowing what was supposed to be known by a certain person. I just kind of felt that I needed to know more than anybody. It was very satisfying, you know, that and the Foreign Service at the end of the day, as far as as far as me and my career, it was a meritocracy.
