The Birth of NVIDIA

This chapter explores the early days of NVIDIA and how the founders, Chris, Curtis, and Jensen, first met while working at Sun Microsystems and LSI Logic. They were tasked with building a graphics card, which was a challenging project at the time. After facing changes at Sun Microsystems, Chris and Curtis decided to leave and invited Jensen to join them in building a new company. They would meet at Denny's to brainstorm ideas and eventually realized that the PC revolution presented an opportunity to develop graphics capabilities for gaming.
