Apollo 9 - The First Flight of the New Apollo Suit

Apollo 9 was more than anything else, an engineering test flight supreme. Almost everything we did was a first and a proof of concept for the hardware that would be used on every subsequent mission to land on the moon successfully and get home again. The camera wasn't working, so while Dave Scott attempted to repair it, Rusty had five minutes, standing outside in the porch of the lunar lander, looking down at the earth.
