The human physiology requires cycling between different states. What is toxic is the sedentary standard American diet overweight person who's chronically over consuming food and not doing much exercise where they're chronically overstimulating M-tore. We need to cycle that with an adequate window of resting and sleeping and switching all that stuff off. And I think in the same theme, when we talk about hormetic stressors, we also need to think about cycling periods of intense hormetic stress.
