Is Going Bankrupt a Moral Issue?

There is shame attached to the notion of going bankrupt. It's almost like it's a moral failing. People do feel that money is a moral issue actually. So too many bankruptcies is a sign of a struggling economy. But if we have the right number, it can be like pruning or weeding a garden in general. And while that might be good for the garden in general, it's always going to be pretty unpleasant for individual leaves.
