The world monuments fund has identified over 800 heritage sites around the world in urgent need of preservation. The 25 architectural and cultural sites on the 20 22 list span over 13 thousand years of history, illustrating some of to day's most pressing global challenges. Atlas obscura adds to their collection of whaky and wonderful places as their readers nominate more sights and experiences to explore.
