There's a chapter called, don't get mad at penguins because they can't fly. That analogy is a lesson in acceptance. The piece of it is that we should accept people for all their limitations and not expect them to do things that they're not capable of. A lot of conflict is the result of the gap between what we expect of somebody and what their actual capabilities are. People think, why i can't? I can't choose my emotional reactions. Not true, right?
