The Influence of Pat Robertson on American Life

I think he was quite influential and for a number of reasons that you mentioned, but some others. He's sort of bringing charismatic Pentecostal theology into the mainstream of Christian broadcasting. And then you have somebody who in many ways, Robertson gave us a preview of the Trump era. The fact that he would say something that crazy must mean it's true. It must mean that he's telling it the way that it is. In many ways, that's what American life has become.
