What I Loved About Adrian Melon

Adrian melon section of the novel is reads incredibly progressive for its time and feels like it feels good even now reading it which is crazy because you tell me any other early 80s literature focusing on a queer person. There's just something about where he just writes him as a real person and he is obviously the one you're supposed to be empathetic towards. What doesn't hold up so much is the way people react to them not so much the author's intent with them um yeah because i had very trueYeah well  i think that's like we're we're you know we're in the age of outrage so it's it's we are rewarded for being upset about things
