The Advantages of SQL LiteStream
The difference between this and traditional, as you called it, N-tier architecture is that the database is sitting next to the application usually. So in the current system with LiteStream, we have primary and followers. And I think the kind of underappreciated part is when you connect to a database server, it seems it's relatively fast.
