Femi's Journey Through the Oracle
In Tap Shoes, we bear witness to what some people describe as a breakdown on the part of Femi. We don't really know much about her backstory, Dave. I've crafted this through a different voice, and we have a character that I've called the Oracle. She is in some ways teasing the audience, apart from one black man with his white partner. And she's saying, look, this is how you treat people in your workplaces. This is no one-off. It's replicated by other black women. So that's what I'm doing. I'm trying to give life to the data."
