How to Write a Good Story

When people are very, very first starting out, they need encouragement most. I recently foundout that some feedback i gave an author friend made that author stop writing for five years. My policy now is to not read anything by anyond new like i said, unless it's a close friend or family member. And then, for experienced authors, i don't offer feedback, unless it was someone i know really well. So these days, i just don't have the time and i'm not a particularly fast reader - which might be surprising to her readers.
