The Relationship Between Dublin and Irish Literature
Dublin has such a special relationship with literature and language. Are you able to trace it back to any institutions, the church or the educational system? I'd like to say it's the educational system but it's probably most often in defiance of all of the above really. There's a long period where Irish writing is really finding itself against the church. It's none of those things.
