Paul Erlich a now 90 year old Stanford biologist who is perhaps best known for his 1968 book the population bomb was featured in 60 minutes. The piece combined dire predictions about everything from climate change to over consumption and possibly most controversially the perils of overpopulation. While every one of these issues warrant serious consideration and discussion what sparked the most controversy since the segment was broadcast was the program's decision to include Paul Erlich.
