The Importance of Girl Development in the Tech Community

Last year, I guess about last year, I kind of took over as a co-leader of the local Philadelphia chapter. And just, you know, really got involved with the local tech community and was really excited to bring more people into it. At that time, I also started working for a local technology news site called Technically Philly,. We ran events like Philly Tech Week. So we hosted the first women in tech mini conference in Baltimore. We hosted a diversity in tech event in Brooklyn.And then, yeah, so eventually, I guess it was about nine months ago, girl development grew at such a pace that we needed somebody to kind of take over full time to leave the organization
