Cole: The idea that all publicity is good publicity is false. It's just one of those, one of those things and the publicity that Labour are getting is almost 100% negative - they've made their leader look like an idiot. Cole: In order for a political message to be successful, it has to tell people it has to say something to people that they already have an inkling is true. He says Boris Johnson's bus advert was incredibly successful but misleading. Advertisers need to cement sentiment into people who think we're paying too much for the EU or not spending enough on NHS.
