John Ashbury's poem Some Trees was written in 1948 when he was just 21 years old. Carlos DeSena is a scholar and writer from Rutgers University who spent many years at Penn. The four of us have gathered here to talk about the poem, as well as two recordings of John Ashbury reading it.
