The Importance of Group Coaching
I tend not to think of what I do with groups as group coaching either. In fact, I would say that intuitively, I feel that what I do is closer to facilitation because a lot of it is working with the whole group. It's always those moments of one on one coaching in a group are always about catalyzing something both for individuals and the group. And when I was trained in professional coaching and group coaching, it was different than that. The way I was trained didn't really pay as much attention to the group dynamics.
