The Double Meaning of a Hoover

I've decided to sell my Hoover. It was just collecting dust. The double meaning of this phrase normally is something that is ignored, neglected and you never use it. For example, I bought these cutouts behind me. There's one of Big Ben. I also bought a phone booth cutout for the background of my videos. However, I decided that having two in the video was a bit too crowded behind me. So the phone booth cut out is in another room collecting dust. In other words, I'm not using it. It has no utility, no use. It's collecting dust and just spiders crawling on it. But yeah, the literal meaning is just sucking up dust.
