The Double Meaning of a Hoover

For example, I bought these cutouts behind me. There's one of Big Ben. I also bought a phone booth cutout for the background of my videos. However, I decided that having two in the video was a bit too crowded behind me. So the phone booth cut out is in another room collecting dust. In other words, I'm not using it. It has no utility, no use. It's collecting dust and just spiders crawling on it. But yeah, the literal meaning is just sucking up dust.
