I was completely dissatisfied with the fact that I could only play with the older versions of K. So I resolved to use the little scraps of information that existed about k5 at the time and try to sort of rebuild that from first principles. There's good documentation available online on k2 and so I started with getting most of most of a k2 implementation together over a a long snowed in winter break one year and then I started kind of growing it in the direction of k5. A bunch of enough people sort of bullied me into trying to reach out to Arthur with this thing so I sent him an email and he sent me back another email that was like a couple of sort of penetrating
