The History of Afghanistan and the Soviet Union

The Afghan people in general supported the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Amanul-Ahaman was completely opposite from his father and wanted the British out of Afghanistan. This ultimately led to the Treaty of Ra'walpindi, which basically ended Grey Britain's direct influence in Afghanistan.
