Is There a Lab for Cutting Edge VR?

I'm wondering why they didn't just use regular labs at campuses. If someone has any place that has the resources for cutting edge VR, but doesn't have a lab, I'm trying to piece that together. And what kinds of students was this targeting? So if I'm talking about crystal structures, well, I can't really show you an atom. But if I want you to see how on a certain plane, the atoms touch a certain way or the how dense the atoms are,. Well, that's something I can't necessarily show you. You have to create a mental model and then now you don't have to.
