This is a drama. These were people who were deeply, profoundly dramatized. And it passes on through the generations, which is how it reverberates to our current day,. unaddressed astress and a trama can evidence itself in so many different ways. It was like a host's dramatic stragal right. I found myself saddened for them that when they were in places where they putatively were free, they would be afraid to move into the integrated cars. They wouldn't even take the chance. So it takes time to overcome the unconscious absorption of the system into which they had been raised and born....
