Tribal leaders in South Dakota have been trying to build a wind farm for 20 years. They had to do it as a company and not as a group of tribal nations because they could get sued. Turbines will be out by north west of here, all through this area, all here and over. But that's only half the reason why they chose this spot.

Lyle Jack wants to build a wind farm on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. But to make the project work, he has to connect that wind farm to the electric grid. Which is easier said than done. On today's show - how the green energy revolution may live, or die, by bureaucrats trying to untangle a mess of wires.
