The Stragglers in the Middle of the Battle
A bridge to nowhere collapsed and the strain on the structure reverberated backwards. The runners in the middle quickly lost their footing and were swallowed by the swamp, or slain by rebel archers,. Only a few out of that entire group managed to make it back to Aldrith. Meanwhile, William was hanging out with a few bros, watching this all play out from a safe distance.
