The Future of Trading Systems
A lot of trading houses were building CTRMs with a view that they could then spin them off and sell them to others. I have some direct experience of that from an industry role in looking at one of those systems. There was definitely an age-related relation in terms of who sat in those different camps. If a trader has a good piece of software that they developed in-house, I think the sensible thing to do is to spin it off completely to cut all ties.
