Gel testing is a great method as well. The advantage of gel is that we're looking for the agglutination to occur within the beads and there is no, um, shaking. There's nothing that the technologist, the lab scientist has to do, other than add it, incubate it and centrifuge. disadvantages is that it's a long centrifugation time.
