Most interesting physics is plenty compatible with the standard model and generalativity. There's no real prospect that you're going to modify our understanding of quanti mechanics on the basis of that. To see radio waves, you can just do it right here on earth. Our atmosphere absorbs infrared light, causing the greenhouse effect. You may have been locally affected by this fact very recently.
