Schusterkovich's Introduction
The stasis in which this symphony begins is unprecedented due to its length. Schusterkovich called this movement an introduction, but it's an introduction of nearly 15 minutes depending on your temple. The first moment of movement comes with the trumpets accompanied by the snare drum. But every once in a while the timpani gives a warning that this protest will not end well.
