Mike Downey: The economy is going to be hurting so badly. For example, you could lose upwards of about 800,000 construction jobs,. Just construction alone if you match with the labor market showing on construction versus the inflation-adjusted construction data. Joe LaVorna: This is just not an environment that sets up very well. We have what, nine months supply now, I think, of new home inventory. These types of things are necessarily going to take time to percolate through," he says.
