The Power of Documenting Mums' Stories
A lot of these mums have got trauma histories, they really do. So we've got trauma compounded with trauma compounded with really intense grief. And the same grief applies, like they're there in just as much grief as the mums as well. There's something about the power of being able to document their stories. A support letter has more power than if a parent just wrote a letter to say all the things they've done or a professional writes a support letter. But yeah, but it's hard almost to find those stories and to be able to document them and get those voices and privilege them,. It's worthwhile when it happens.
